Finance & Accounts Section

The Finance & Accounts department activities includes

• Prepare the claims against Govt. for grant-in-aid as admissible for primary education, slum Improvement and for rebate on Urban Immovable property Tax in the City, house repairs cess   and for share in Entertainment tax etc.

• Collection and Maintenance of Accounts of income and expenditure.

• Preparation of Final Account- Income and Expenditure/ Balance Sheet.

• Maintenance of Accounts- Various Funds Such as PF, Sinking Fund etc.
