License department scrutinize the Proposal in respect of lease of municipal plots, renewal of lease, levy and recovery of lease rent and extra ground rent, execution of lease, license and deeds.
The activity also includes:

• Issue of NOC for advertisements and hoardings, Tower etc.
• Trade License issue for Rickshaw, Thala, Tanga, Fish, and Meat.
• Rent charge on advertisements, hoardings, Tower, Rickshaw, Thala, Tanga, Fish, and Meat.
• Rent charge on Toilet Build by Bhagalpur Municipal Corporation.
